The Looks Halloween Party!!!

The Looks Party is back in your area this Friday night at the Gaslight in Hoboken NJ with an extra special Halloween editiion. VanderCrest, aka Mikey and Ryan, will be laying down the tunes for the evening as usual so come on through to dance and drink the night away. I know this is pretty last minute, but if you’re in the area stop on by! Costumes are recommended and prizes will be given out for the best in different categories. Reverse happy hour will be in effect along with other drink specials. Holla if you heard!

And Hensforth we have a Shadow

I like this track which was remixed by Hensforth. It is a real interesting take on the DJ Shadow’s Midnight In A Perfect World. (1996) Take a listen for yourself, sounds like Hensforth really know how to take a jelly and make it a jam. Both versions are amazing!

Minitel Rose – “Magic Powder” video

This is definately one of the most fantastically cheesy videos I’ve seen in a while, but I’ll tell you what, Minitel Rose is serioius!   These “three french boys back from the future” crank up spaced out electro jams that just may be the next big thing.  Peep their myspace page and also visit Missingtoof’s Minitel Rose archives to cop a bunch of sick tracks.
